The mixer

Two generators and a player, running side by side.

Every track is independent: switch one off and the others keep going. Levels, colours, filters and the beat all stay exactly where you left them the next time you open the app — and the whole arrangement can be saved as a scene.

Alpha Waves

Generator

Two slightly detuned tones, one per ear. The difference between them is the beat you hear — set it anywhere from deep delta up through gamma, or jump to a preset band.

Beat frequency

The beat frequency slider spans the classic EEG bands. XELUNE marks them right under the control, so you always know which part of the map you are on. Treat them as named starting points for your own listening, not as settings with a promised effect.

Band edges follow the usual EEG convention, and the labels describe where people tend to set things — not an outcome XELUNE claims to produce. Pick by ear. Binaural beats need headphones: the beat only exists because each ear gets a different tone.

Sleep timer

It fades out, then lets go.

Set a duration and a fade, press start, and put the device down. XELUNE doesn't cut off mid-breath — it brings the whole mix down gently over the fade time and stops.

DurationPick how long the mix should run — the dial counts it down.
Fade outThe tail of the timer, set separately. One minute of slow descent by default.
CountdownThe ring shows minutes remaining, whether or not the window is in front.
EndingAll three tracks fade together and playback stops. Nothing restarts on its own.

iCloud

Set it up once. It's the same everywhere.

Turn on Sync Settings via iCloud and your mixer — scenes included — follows you between the Mac, the iPad and the phone. Build a scene at your desk in the afternoon; it's waiting on the nightstand.

Scenes: Every saved scene, by name, on all your devices — save on one, recall on another.
Mixer levels: Master and all three track faders, plus which tracks are armed.
Generator settings: Noise colour, beat frequency, mode and carrier tone.
Filters: Every high pass and low pass: on/off, cutoff and slope.
Sleep timer: Your preferred duration and fade-out length.
Soundfiles: Anything in iCloud Drive › XELUNE › Sounds syncs automatically, so the third track has the same material on every device.
