How can we help?
Answers to the questions that come up most, and a direct line to the people who build XELUNE for Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Purchase and XELUNE Pro
Does one purchase cover all my devices?
Yes. XELUNE Pro is a single, universal purchase. Buy it once on your Mac, iPad or iPhone and it unlocks on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. There is no subscription.
I bought Pro but a device still shows the free version.
- Check that the device is signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to buy.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app. XELUNE asks the App Store for your purchase again and unlocks Pro.
- If you use Family Sharing, the purchase is tied to the account that bought it.
If none of that works, write to us with the device and system version and we'll look into it.
How do I ask for a refund?
Payments are handled entirely by Apple, so we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose the XELUNE purchase.
iCloud sync
My scenes or settings don't appear on my other device.
- Open Settings in XELUNE on each device and turn on Sync Settings via iCloud. The row below it should read iCloud Account · Signed In.
- All devices must use the same Apple Account, with iCloud Drive turned on in the system settings.
- Changes usually arrive within a few seconds, but iCloud can take longer on a slow connection or in Low Power Mode. Opening XELUNE on the receiving device prompts a fresh sync.
What exactly is synced?
Saved scenes, master and track levels, which tracks are armed, noise colour, beat frequency, mode and carrier tone, every filter setting, and your sleep timer preferences. Audio files in iCloud Drive › XELUNE › Sounds sync through iCloud Drive itself.
Your soundfiles
Which audio formats can I use?
MP3, AAC/M4A, WAV, AIFF, CAF and FLAC. Files protected by DRM, such as tracks from a streaming service, cannot be played.
How do I get my files onto the iPhone or iPad?
The easiest way is the shared XELUNE library: put files into iCloud Drive › XELUNE › Sounds on your Mac, or with the Files app, and they appear on every device. You can also choose any other folder you can reach on the device in the Library sheet.
A file is listed but doesn't play.
If the file lives in iCloud Drive, it may not be downloaded to this device yet. Open the folder in Finder or the Files app and download it, or wait a moment while iCloud fetches it. Check also that the format is one of those listed above.
Sound and playback
I can't hear the binaural beat.
A binaural beat only exists when each ear receives its own tone, so you need headphones. Over speakers both tones mix in the room and the effect disappears. The beat itself is subtle; raise the Alpha Waves track a little and give it a minute.
How do I start over with default settings?
Open Settings and choose Reset Mixer to Defaults. Your saved scenes and soundfiles are not affected.
Does XELUNE need an internet connection?
No. The noise and binaural generators and your own files work fully offline. A connection is only used for iCloud sync, purchases through the App Store, and downloading soundscapes.
Listening safely
XELUNE is designed for relaxation and focus. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Keep the volume at a comfortable level, and do not use brainwave audio while driving or if you have a history of seizures.
